Margaret River on the West Coast of Australia was only identified in the 1960's as a potential grape growing region due to its similarities to Bordeaux and has since grown in stature to produce not only some of the best Bordeaux Varietal wines in Australia but world class Chardonnays as well from the southern part of the region. This educational and edifying symposium will explore this diverse but impressive set of microclimates through some of the area's top producers, both young and old, and demonstrate just why this region is developing into one of the top quality wine areas in the world.

Since 1982, Roederer Estate has been quietly and carefully producing extraordinary Methode Champenoise Sparkling Wine from the Anderson Valley near the Mendocino Coast. Monsieur Weyrich will lead a comprehensive tasting and most interesting discussion of the array of Roederer Estate wines.

Featuring the top red and white wines from 75 wineries, eclectic food stations from the Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa to match, and music that embodies the spirit of the 2008 Central Coast Wine Classic, this Fourth Annual Central Coast Wine Classic Reserve Wine Tasting is designed to present the very finest wines to a discerning audience. Each winery will pour two wines that they consider to be their top-of-the-line renderings.
